Today at the Cottage on 37th

What a beautiful fall day at the cottage.  Nearly 60 degrees, sunny, and calm.  It was a great day for getting out the sewing machine and start sewing up some new items.  My beautiful lap/toddler quilt I made with my mom during the first of the year.  All of my quilts are original designs made with 100% cotton fabrics.

The cute headbands I made, recycling a mans button up shirt and accenting it with a 12 gage shotgun shell.  Awesome addition for that country chic.  These headbands are also hand made and all three are for sale on my Etsy site.  https://www.etsy.com/shop/Cottageon37th .

With Thanksgiving fast approaching I will be adding new gift items to Etsy.  There will be a variety of handmade items.

Welcome to Cottage on 37th

Currently located in Northern Utah near the mountain side, we are enjoying the changing leaves this October.  This blog is to share inspiration that will range from my own creations of jewelry, quilting, sewing, up-cycling, and recycling.  I never know for sure what I will become inspired by next.  I also enjoy new recipes and playing with pinterest.com .  Whether it is budgeting, making gifts for neighbors, or writing resume's I am always searching for new ideas where I can not only help myself but others as well.  I currently utilize http://Cottageon37th.etsy.com to sell my handmade items.

I hope to share with you what I find interesting and hope you will also discover something new to inspire your day or life.  Having a Psychology background I appreciate others and their unique talents and how they inspire me.  Please feel free to comment and share.  I look forward to this new chapter.
